'Came back in about hour an 1/2 and didn't give it a second thought and as I was leaving rubbed against a branch from next tree up and ruffed up the awning.'
You should always do a walk-around before taking off. Make sure there are no obstacles, vandalism, tires are up, etc. Never know what happens, when you leave your vehicle.
