Those living in the city and county where trees are too low should contact the Department of Public Works and City Councilman/County Supervisor by e-mail (document of record) and advise them that they will be held responsible if damages or injuries should occur to vehicles by their failing to have trees trimmed.
I was at a Thousand Trails Campground that had low hanging trees over the roads and camp areas. A tree broke a roof vent. I submitted an incident report to the Ranger and E.L.S. agreed to pay all costs (in E-mail).
