I agree, many dealers are very poor on the net. I have been in sales for 25 years. It is true that a small number of emails actually turn into sales so most salespeople only want to deal with customers on the phone or in person. Salespeople are generally "instant gratification" people and since the % of email leads that turn into buyers is so low the email lead is the lowest priority. I don't believe it's the right approach, but it does still seem to be the way it is. There are some dealers that have embraced the net and email customers so I suggest you keep shopping and don't get discouraged.
