We bought ours from a private seller on the internet. We knew exactly what model we wanted and concentrated on finding a listing at a decent price. Then we contacted the seller with questions and asked for pictures of specific things. He saw we were serious. It took about two weeks to go over everything since we were out of email contact for most of the time in Mexico. Ask for a reasonable small price reduction and the DP was ours. We flew to Colorado a little while later and picked it up. He was so pleased with the lack of hassle in the transaction that even filled the tank with 100 gal of diesel and also threw in water and snacks in the refer so we could get on the road.
If we buy another one, we'll look to deal with private sales first.
