What's the ratings label say on the 110 charger? How many watts or amps input?
I wouldn't connect a 400 watt rated inverter through a ciggy lighter connection, you'll likely blow a fuse or melt something well before you reach 400 watts on the output (400 watts AC = 40 amps DC roughly)
It should work, but I would connect the inverter directly to your truck battery, using no less than 10 gauge cable, and keep the DC cable short, use an AC extension cord if you need more distance.
