Add those white/metal (coated w/plastic) shelves-- you could screw the spice rack shelf onto the existing shelf. I also use those white stand up shelves to make double shelves in the cabinets...they come in many different sizes and configurations...check out Target/Walmart/Kmart in Housewares/Kitchen section
