Driving from TEXAS to Hershey sounds rather expensive to me. Looks like 1600 miles to Hershey from Victoria. At 12 mpg towing, that's 133 gallons of gas ONE WAY. Sounds to me that it is WAY less risky to just trade it in or sell on Craigslist local. What camper do you have, what did they offer and what are you hoping to sell it for?
Unless the potential upside is several thousand dollars, I'm not sure it would be worth the risk...
We have been planning a trip to Pensalvania and there is no reason we can't take the RV, but we had thought to drive the car and hotel camp simply for the convenience. So the real question is whether the odds of selling the Rv justify the extra hassle, time and expense of pulling a 44' Toy Hauler up there. FYI it is a 2014 Cyclone 4018, 2 slides 18 garage all the goodies like central vac and 6 pt level, artic pkg, 3 ACs, 4 season doors, etc.
BTW when you say your dad went early can you be more specific? How early to get a nice, visible spot hi traffic spot?
