So I had to start over at the beginning to see where this turned into a welding thread. I would never put down anyone who makes an honest living no matter if they were a janitor or a CEO. If a welder could work for 3 or 4 years at that pace he could retire very young. I’m a retired firefighter and I have worked 14 straight 24 hr shifts. So do you want to put me down and say I was stupid. And for 20 years I worked on my days off from the fire station. We still fit in our traveling and fun. I retired when I was 51. People that have such firm opinions amaze me.
