If you are not experienced backing a trailer it can be stressful and embarrassing. I've owned several trailers and I'm good at backing them up but I spent a lot of time in a big empty parking lot getting the experience. Also make sure a gas station or restaurant has a big enough parking lot. If you are towing a 30' trailer with a 20' truck you can get in big trouble with your combined 50' length.
