Welding on frame vs. electronics
I'm thinking no big deal... Then again, some of the goofy transistor stuff inside of radios and converters and the fridge, and hundreds of amps surging in places where they aren't normally supposed...

Just a few comments. First welding on the frame is big problem. I have worked in a truck fabrication shop since the 80's and everything has to be bolted to the frame. Once any supports are on the frame we weld on the supports. We disconnect the battery and thats it. Never damaged any electronics on the vehicle
