Particularly for those with reading comprehension issues, I started the post off with asking if "anyone ever had this happen to them?" It's hard for me to imagine this happening due to a "normal" speed bump. This one was 9" tall and located on a park street with a right angle turn to it and no room to "square" off before "creeping" over it. That is extreme . Maybe not for a mobile home park but for a place where rv and
toad must maneuver an obstacle course. Class A's are not designed to go off roading. And yes this happens more than one would think according to the man. and the installer.
The reason I' m mad as hell is first of all I came to this dealer for recall work and driving nearly 250 miles to get it done instead of to another dealer 60 miles away that ripped me off for over a grand. I called two weeks in advance to get the 4 hours of service reserved when I got there. No problem. They treated me as a drive up the day after I arrived and put me off for another day. I've resigned to the fact that******happens with class A's windshield damage and wait for my next lay over to getter done. I also won' t have any other service work I was going to give them done here.
But I guarantee you that unnecessary speed "hump" will bite another unsuspecting windshield and it sounds like it wasn't the only time it happened on it.
I didn't choose to stay at this poorly reviewed RV park.
