The RB saved my bacon a few days ago on my way to FL. I was in rush hour traffic outside Columbia, S.C., at close to the speed limit, in the middle lane. A young lady in the left lane cuts right in front of me. Not a big deal I took my foot off the pedal to give her some room.
But, she didn't just want to change lanes, she wanted off at the exit we were just starting to pass. There was traffic in the right lane getting off the exit. She slams on the brakes, came to a stop to wait for an opening. I was standing on the brake, I have no idea how we didn't crash. I glanced in the my door mirror and could see the RB had the Jeep's brakes locked up, tires squeeling. Pretty scarey!
I definatly know that it was close enough that if I didn't have the RB, I would have slammed into her. And, it probably would have been my fault.
