I bought an observation camera for my fifth wheel trailer. It allows the driver to see what is happening behind them when driving as opposed to the back up camera which is only on when the vehicle is in reverse. It cost about $50 more.
Furrion makes the most popular cameras, as do Voyager.
:) Hi, I mounted my wireless sensor on the front of my trailer for a better signal; Because of this, it was easier to connect my camera to my Battery Tender connection at my batteries. Point being, once I plug my camera in, it is on all of the time. Not just with certain lights turned on. And because it is part of my Garmin GPS, I can toggle back and forth from map to camera as I wish.
