CapriRacer is correct in his statement above. This recall is not because of some structeral defect but because the tires sidewall did not containg the correct or complete information required by law.
If you have any doubts about your tires and need help in interperting what all those markings mean on the side of your tires, I would suggest you take a look at the info contained on this page by Discount Tire on "Reading the Sidewall of a Tire". Scroll down a little past the middle to see the date info on when the tire was made.
