The review referred to by the OP sounded to me like the reviewer had visited that park frequently under the old management and had become personal friends with that management, quite probably receiving perks not offered to every client of the park such as first dibs on select sites, etc. Of course, they are upset when that situation ends and leave a review reflecting that opinion.
