My wife claims Murphys oil seems to keep the buggers at bay. She hates ants with a passion. If you find an ant hill use boiling water down the hole. Works great. No chemicals needed. I still have to spray since we live on 1/2 acre next to a lake and creek. But seeing the buggers disappear after the hot bath is satisfying.
