Yup, me too. I even hit the chain links with a shot of penetrating lube. Dry chain that wiggles slightly under tension can creek and pop. Grease the ball and socket pivots and a pea-sized dab of Vasoline on the cam and bar seats, and don't forget to spread the dab onto the cam shoulder too. Otherwise, make sure you're not having binding issues in tight turns.
Mine barely makes any noise at all.
