What I did to make Reflectix panels for the inside of the outside storage doors was to measure the size of the door, cut a Reflectix panel to fit, then cut pieces of Velcro tape and attached to the Reflectix. I would have the part that sticks to the inside of the door already stuck to its mate on the Reflectix, then just press the Reflectix panel on the inside of the door. This would leave the 1/2 of the Velcro stuck to the inside of the door. This handles lining up the two halves of the Velcro strip.
We normally do not have the extra Reflectix in position unless we are going out in some cold conditions.
