I don't know about you all but the printer use while camping is not necessarily camping related. When I bought mine I had a need to download and print some passport forms for my daughter while on a recent road trip to California. That worked out very well.
We all browse the Internet for whatever reason and sometimes there is a need to print and that is where the printer comes in useful. You never have to miss a beat in your "real life" because you are camping. ;) If you have a printer you will print. That said the cartridge drying out issue is indeed real and I am considering taking it to the office when not camping. I use a tablet and love to be able to print wirelessly from my tablet whenever I need to.
