- PartyOf_FiveExplorerJust needs an led display that let's you write "Back Off! "
Our, in our case, a plexiglass panel under which we can add travel stickers :-) - garyhauptExplorerA shelf....yes, for sure. My thought now is to put the shelf low, and let the bikes sit on that..leaving the lower area for 'stuff'. My Yammy 1000 inverter, a fuel can, the sewer hose.
Thoughts welcome.
Gary - 2012ColemanExplorer IILooks great - I have a Giant Talon mountain bike - not sure which model you have - but I'd love to have this setup. Looks like room to add a shelf above.
- JRscoobyExplorer IILooks good to me. Think I would add a shelf. Someplace to carry couple hooks, pulley and rope. Might be useful to get tire down and up if need to use it.
- gboppExplorerThat would be a good 'option' for RV manufacturers. It gives a lot of protected storage and minimally extends the overall length of the rig.

Is it supported by the receiver?
Yes..but also anchored to the original spare tire bolts at the back of the box.

Looks very well done. Is the box made of aluminum? What do you suppose it weighs? Just curious where the license plate ended up.
Weighs about 50lbs, according to the builder. Yes, all aluminum. The license/light...I will figure out in the next day or 4.

- LwiddisExplorer IILooks good. Exactly where a quality bicycle should be stored and carried.

There and also where the spare was originally attached. If it were a 'thing'..it can all be taken off. Although some fibreglass work would have to follow.
