Remove your fears of water leaks

I posted this in a different thread and then by the positive responses, I thought this would be a good idea to post it separately.

We have these all over our RV under sinks, by toilet and shower, etc. They are very sensitive to the tiniest bit of water and are really loud. We had a small leak from an input hose under our kitchen sink and was awaken in the middle of the night by one of these screaming. We were able to divert a major problem.

These are worth checking into for your peace of mind.

  • I'm not overly concerned with water leakage. I run off of my onboard water tank and shut off the pump when not needed. If there's a leak my pump will let me know. Never do I hook up to city water. Has worked for me many years.

Of course, a leak in an unpressurized pipe (such as a drain) would not be prevented with this method but it's never happened.

yep, I have them by the water heater, utility sink, washing machine, etc. but they aren't cute little frogs. :)

  • I use the leak frog also. Works well just remember to change the batteries once a year.
