Removing the bugs

Hydrogen peroxide, and some car soap in a spray bottle works well for me. The soap helps it to stay where you spray.

Dryer sheets work well to, but my roof is not walkable and damn hard to use the dryer sheets on a ladder that barley reaches.

I mix a gallon jug of water infused with Adolfs Meat Tenderizer. Soak a sponge in the "bug juice" and the bugs roll right off.

It also works great for bee stings. Just wet a sponge with the mixture and hold it on the sting. The papain in Adolfs breaks down the "venom" and relieves the sting.

Never tried the dryer sheets. Using other chemicals I'd read labels carefully. Things that are good for removing stubborn dead bugs stand a good chance of stripping wax too.

If there is a good coat of high quality wax most of the bug remains will come off with a soft brush & water or water with the non wax stripping automotive or RV wash.

Speed seems to make a difference on how well they get plastered to the front cap as well.

Dryer sheets for sure, but not on the windshield.....that's messy.

If you are in Florida or the other Love bug states this time of year. Clean those bugs off as soon as you can! Dead bugs eat the paint! Water and a scrubbie will work.

Just a suggestion, I clean the front every day to avoid that BIG job. Just takes a few minutes using plain water and microfiber rag.

Rejex is great on the toad but at 76 years old this old bird ain't crawlin up no ladders :)

Also, the dryer sheets didn't do near the job that the Eraser did.

I now see that there is a pre-treatment that looks like a spray on cellophane ..... May try that next trip.
