Rent your RV as opposed to paying for storage?

Unsure where to post this question. Does anyone have experience renting out their RV? We are looking to store a travel trailer (small and lightweight with good rental potential) but are looking into...

Fear of the unknown would dissuade me. Renters could bring bedbugs, incontinent kids or animals. They could decide to fry chicken or boil cabbage. I know folks love their dogs but I don't want to put my head on a cushion they've been using as a butt scratcher. Too many potential downsides.
