dont know where ya get 20 hrs to remove the cab, its more like 3-4 per magazine articles. The guys who also work on these trucks also can do a lot cab on. So its not much different than any other to work on but you have to know who is doing what when you take in. Most of the problems for the 6.0 were due to inexperienced mechs/techs when they first came out which was a ford problem. Second mech/techs who dont know the truck also cause issues.
I had mine bullet proofed for less than $4K by an experienced ford tech on his own time. He brought the truck up to the latest in TSBs and she is a runner.
All vehicles have their problems, dodges were the 5.9 with the killer dowel pin, sorry fuel pumps (got caught on hoover dam behind one that had fuel pump failure one summer), then there are the steering box issues and some more. Chebby has their issues also. The newer 6.7 cummins are having some issues, but since I dont have one I dont know what they all are, so instead of slamming a vehicle you have no knowledge of other than what you have read, leave it at that.
