We did this down in Florida while we were there last year. We used the Allure flooring as well. Looked great down in Florida but once we got back to "the Great White North" the planks started to shrink and each joint had anywhere from an eighth to a quarter inch gap. If I were to do it again I would put down a thin layer of glue and then put down the planks, although the Allure we bought didn't need that (it was a floating floor). Anyway we traded the unit in, so don't have to worry about it anymore.
