I read on one of the posts on his group someone ask as out price for a smaller area & he said around $2000, but I don't know what all that covered...I ve seen where he charges less if you do the prep such as removing old flooring / carpet, and/ or cost of material. Send him an email & I think he'll answer any questions. I know he has a certain place he takes customers to pick out their flooring in Ft. Worth, I think. Good luck! Keep us updated.

You will appreciate ease of cleaning an you wont mind visitors .Ours goes whole way --bedroom to front.Couple swipes every day with mop an its clean even though we had 10-13 people for happy hour on ocasion an thats when its rainy outside!

If you read some of his posts he sound kind of grump but I think he's been abused by people not staying in touch with him and not showing up when he has them booked to do their work. I don't blame him for now asking for a deposit, etc. This is how he makes $$. I wish we could get our carpet replaced by him...maybe someday! Good luck and let me know how it works out for you.

North Texas would work. Definitely interested. My RV service guy in OKC recommended a person some time back, but he has some serious health problems now and cannot do it. Where in N. Texas? We are 90 miles northeast of Wichita Falls, 20 miles off the HE Bailey/I-44.

There's a man, Ernie (can't remember his last name) in north Texas who does this but only does one rig a month. He does beautiful work and will only use engineered wood. I'll try to find his info if you're interested or maybe someone in the MH section can help.

We used Lumber Liquidators a couple of years ago to purchase real oak face boards - composite for strength and durability.
It is lovely - we hired a local company for the install job and it was well done. (If you agree to take up the old carpet to save on cost, be prepared to pull THOUSANDS of staples from the subfloor the MoHo manufacturers use to put down the carpet!!)

X2 on the laminate - easier to install, easier to repair, lighter weight -- very durable. AND, less costly for product and install if you don't do it yourself.

Talk to someone in a flooring store- I know the carpet places around here usually know of one or two installers who will work on RVs.

Have you considered laminate like Allure --- easy to install, looks exactly like wood, floats - sold at one of the Big Box hardware stores.
