Some of us just do not want a residential frig in an RV.
In fact, some years back I walked away from a very nice little Class C because it had a residential frig.
Most of my camping is in places where there are no hookups, no bathhouses, no dump stations, and lots of trees.
I do not want the added weight of extra batteries, an inverter, or solar panels. Nor do I want to run the generator more than I do now.
I am very happy with the frig that is installed in the motorhome. I have no desire to change it. While it is very unlikely that I will ever buy a different RV, if I ever do, it will NOT have a residential frig!
