Would someone please explain to me why a guy in a 19' trailer and someone in a small Class A gasser would run around telling people that residential refers are not right for RVing. We're not talking about putting a 30 cubic foot Subzero in a tent trailer. We're talking about an 18-21 cubic foot refer in a large diesel pusher or high end Class A gasser.
Like it or not, residential refers are the future of RVing.
Lastly, you can install a residential refer, 2 extra batteries, if needed, and even solar for less than the price of an RV refer.
Jeff....on my last coach I had limited height to install the Samsung RF197 because my furnace was under the Norcold. I eliminated the old refer floor and cut the wheels off of the Samsung. I bolted on square tubing slides and slid the refer in with no flooring (not needed). It was the BEST upgrade I did to my 36' Diplomat.
