Repurposed Tyvek for Tire Covers?

Question

I have a older Tyvek RV cover that I do not use anymore.  I was thinking of repurposing it by cutting to size my own tire covers.  It has done a great job protecting the RV over the years.  Any reason I should not use this material for tires?

I would think it would be great??  Several years ago, we put the flannel-lined vinyl covers over the tires on our 5er, and the mice made nests under them :-(  So don't offer pests a cushy home.....LOL!

I wouldn't think it would be an issue. It's a light color which would be cooler, temp wise, in protecting your tires. Covering your tires is better than not.
