The whirlpool 10.7 says not to use an inverter & yet folks seem to be using it with one... We only have 2 12v batteries & no solar. We do not boondock, but often go 6 hrs without power. We are FT & on the fence with this decision. We have already disconnected the propane due to my concern about fires. Our fridge is 11 years old. We want to decide before we are stuck with NN fridge. How long do propane/ elec fridges typically run before needing replacement? I have been thinking residential until I see the need for multiple large batteries, solar, etc. Thanks!
