Restaurant Near National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum

Hi... can anyone tell me the name of the really good restaurant near the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City? It's just down the road, very close to the museum. Thanks!
  • The Cattlemen's is one of the top steak restaurants in the country.
Shorty Small's is ribs and steak, a little different.
Bricktown has a few places and if you like Toby Keith his "I like this bar" is there.
  • Thanks all! It's been several years since we were there, so I'm thinking it was the County Line BBQ restaurant. We ate at Cattlemen's Steakhouse and have recommended it to four friends who will be heading that way in April.
  • People in Oklahoma don't eat at restaurants. They graze apparently.
We on a schedule never did find one. Found some fast foods on the outskirts.
Didn't know about the on in the museum. They added photo and exhibit of GGUncle US Marshall killed at the Going Snake Massacre a few years ago.

I forgot the smiley face. I was just kidding about Oklahomans grazing.
Fortunately none of my relatives out there will read the post.
Oklahoma City has a few real good resturants just have to look in th book first.
    :)
  • We had a good lunch at the restaurant inside the museum. Also you should consider the Cattleman's Steakhouse at the stockyards in OKC.
  • Gabriella's Italian Restaurant is just a half mile west of the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. (It's in the same location as the old County Line BBQ restaurant). http://www.gabriellasokc.com/
You can check it online, they get pretty good reviews.
    Enjoy your stay in OKC.
  • The County Line was just up the road from the NCWHM but it went out of business several years ago and it is now an Italian restaurant.
