Thank you all for your advice. "To good to be true" may apply here.
I believe I'll pass on this one mainly because the salesman I've been dealing with (or the owner of the coach) have been telling stories that aren't supported by the facts. Salesman said it was not a salvage, just a problem with odometer (Arizona box C). and that it was due to a clerical error in Arkansas. Car-Fax shows that it was totaled in 2009 and has been run through several states since then. "Rebuilt Title Issued", "Not Actual Mileage Title Issued" in most cases.
If they had been straight about all of this up front, maybe we could deal. Again, thanks to all.
Might be worth a call to your local news' consumer advocate number. If this is a salesman, their business should be reported, investigated, and exposed if found to be deliberately concealing information or misrepresenting their inventory.
Our local newspaper would never publish the Board of Health inspections from the local grocery store, cause if they did they would lose the grocery store's advertising. And grocery stores spend big money on advertising!! RV dealers do to!! You run into that with print, TV, and radio media all over this country. "We don't want to hurt their bottom line cause it will hurt our bottom line!" Now if they don't spend money on local advertising, the local news consumer advocate might listen. But unless you have documented everything with actual proof so there is no liability, you might as well forget it
