If I am moving on to another camp spot, I likely will not rinse, but if it's my final dump and the camper is going home to sit, I certainly will.
If you blow a gasket waiting I would suggest you tighten down your head bolts a little tighter next time.
I totally agree with you! It only adds a few minutes on the process,,and if your in that much of a hurry,,Leave and find a place to dump when You get home,,Don't rush me!! Its my turn and if your behind me maybe you should a got there faster!
Holly cow,,when did a rinser become such an ugly weapon??
I bring my own hose, not an impact to the camp ground, it takes me maybe five or ten minutes extra to rinse and clean all my stuff, then I am outta there!!
Oh yeah and I leave my porch light on and my stereo playing so I can groove while rinsing! I also have a plug so that my clearance lights flash while i am rinsing also!!
Last I checked the drought here is over and I believe in the GEO method of rinsing and dumping so I hope that the hose has good pressure cause my tanks are going to be clean!!!
What goes on behind me I could care less about!! Most of ya are all just headed to a wal mart to camp any way so slow down and chill out!!
Peace All!!
Definitely no drought in SW Virginia!! First sunny day in weeks. You can clean your black tank as long as you want if I am behind you. We spent 8 weeks traveling across country and we never ran into one impatient camper. Everyone was relaxed and enjoying themselves. We met a lot of amazing people from all over the world camping in our gorgeous country. This is the first I've heard that there is stress at dump stations. Luckily we didn't go to those places.
Well being new you will see that there are allot of threads on allot of different things here,, I didn't mean to come off so angry but a previous thread about the hose end being cut off got locked down because some folks just went nuts over the fact that I use my tank rinser. Even to the point they said that they would Move me out of the way!! It was allot of fun sparing back and forth,, but some evidently took it to heart!
You will also find that having out door lights on, food and bbq smoke will set off a fury of angry judgmental people here!!
In all my years of camping from tents, to pop ups to travel trailer to rental class B and Class A motor homes, I have never really had an issue with any one! Face to Face. But here on RVNet,, there sure are allot of keyboard tuff campers!!
Like one of the psts on here in response to tank rinsing,, camping should be fun,, relaxing and not hurry up and rush rush,, I think most folks talk a big story but are all eyes and knuckles behind the wheel!!
Don't take the criticism by other very far,, thats just their nature and it is what it is!!
As far as the rinser,, carry a fifteen foot section of your own garden hose to use,, Only a handful of dump stations I have used have good hoses,, and it only early into the season that they are good,, most get so beat up they are no good and others get run over so they cut the end off. Don't be afraid to rinse!! Its good for your system!
Oh, also, I didn't interpret you as coming off angry at all. Boy, online conversations are hard!
