Oh, so if we are in disagreement, then I'm not a "seasoned" camper? LOL!!!
The opinions expressed on this forum aren't blanket authority for everyone who owns an RV, nor are they the attitudes of people I've met - fortunately. My experience shows that just dumping the black tank leaves residue. Want pictures?
Maybe it's different for your tank design or maybe you use yours more often - ever consider that? Open to any consideration whatsoever? Guess not.
Therefore I rinse it out. And yes, the tower is used to rinse the area, but either it has threads, has been cut off, or there is a roll of hose hanging. There is usually also a spiket. I've recently been to Rocky Bayou state park - and a hose is provided - and I connected it to my wand, went into my bathroom and flushed out the tank. I've also connected to the threads on the water tower(made in a different factory) and I have also connected to the spiket. I'm smart enough to have a separate hose for this in case your worried about my health - but not holding my breath.
I rinse my hose by dumping the gray water second. But it's OK if I spend time to do it with the hose at the dump station? Hey - people are behind you - you shouldn't do that, it's rude and shows OCD tendencies... wink wink :w
If you think the question was misunderstood, or need clarification, feel free to call the "state bureaucrat" - he provided his phone number.
If a small wait of 10 to 15 minutes is to much for you to bear, then - well it goes without saying. If a small wait of 10 to 15 minutes is to much for you to bear, then - well it goes without saying.
People love to spout about rudeness and etiquette this and etiquette that on here, but have nothing but ugliness for others in what they type and are immune to the idea that every person does not share their views and might do something differently that what they consider the norm. What hypocrisy.
I get it though - this is your place to vent your anonymous rage while if in the real situation, you'd probably just sit there thinking of your next rant post.
The funny thing is that if I asked a question about a tank blockage, these would be the first ones to tell me that with proper maintenance, my tanks would not have been blocked up.
And yes 4x4, my tanks sit with a few gallons of water and some blue stuff - but no poop.
But fear not! All is not lost! My next trip is at a very nice CG with Full hookups! Going to get me some more seasoning I imagine.
Feel free to quote and berate me till you heart pumps out of your chest from pent up anger over a non-issue.
Again, happy camping/dumping! :P
Well I if there are 2 or 3 people in line in front of you the wait could actually be much much longer than your 15 minutes.
As for berating you, I think you have done more than enough in your post to shine a light on yourself that any criticism on our part would be superfluous.
And in any case how can one berate a fellow who cant spell SPIGOT, even with the help of the spell checker?
