These tank flushers are another example of a totally needless product sold to the beginners and the credulous.
There is absolutely no need for them. This is a holding tank. If a few bits remain it's not a problem. Use the tank properly make sure the VENT tube is clear and you will have no odor in your rig.
Let the tank fill up and then dump it. Do not leave it open. And even if it sits at your house for a period of time that is not a problem.
If you are really worried about it use your hose at home to fill that tank with water and let it sit between trips. Then stop at a truck stop or other place with a dump stations and dump that water before arriving at your dest. But in reality this is not necessary either.
As in so many things about RV'ing this is one of those things that have taken hold of the imagination and seems to be stressed over. Simplify your entire experience and forget about the flush.
I had for years an ocean-going 42 foot Sailboat and they also have holding tanks as do Motor Yachts. None in my experience has ever used a back flush system. They are just not necessary.
Tornado Flush rinse!Maybe you should watch this!
Some sure are keyboard tuff guys telling everyone else what and what not to do! My question to you is: "Who died and left you in charge"
Answer: "No One"!!
If I am ahead of you I suggest you find a station on your XM radio and sit back and enjoy! Its gonna be a bit until I get my tank clean!
Feel free to shoo me along all you want,, but when I am done I am done.
While your listening to the radio, you might want to get on your mobile device and search for a new hobby,, cause you evidently reached the top of the command chain and can no longer advance (We don't have Grand Pooh Ba status) and we basically don't pay attention to you any more!
It appears that the few of you who don't have time to wait are in a hurry to get to a Wal Mart parking lot and set up camp and get out in your little circles and complain!!
Thanks for your support!! Peace Out!!
