Well I can say that the OP had his mind made up before he posted.
Myself, I have used roadside assistance a few times. The tows have paid for the cost for many years.
No, RA will not be good for him until he wishes he had it. That might be a few years down the line. Then he will be posting about how wrong he was.
Of all the insurance one can carry, RA is the one that will be used by RVers.
