Roadmaster tow bar question

I just bought a jeep wrangler that has the Roadmaster baseplate model #521448-5 on it. I have been trying to figure out which tow bar will match to this specific base plate. I am going to have to buy the arms for it, but it already has the wiring harness installed. trying to figure out which power cord goes with it as well. Hoping some of you will have this setup and can point me in the right direction. Thanks for any help !!!

  • Roadmaster Falcon towbar
Adapters are available for other bars.

    I copied this from etrailer
"Note: Roadmaster direct-connect base plates will only work with Roadmaster tow bars that slide into a trailer hitch, such as the Sterling, Blackhawk, Blackhawk 2, Falcon, or Falcon 2. These base plates will not work with tow bars that require a hitch ball."
  • What towbar do you have? Do you really need to replace the arms? If so consider a new tow bar for your setup.

You may/may not find a power cord that is plug and play as you may need wiring modifications to match. ie 1 bulb/filament for turn brake vs 2 and charge line, etc. Recommend 6 wire cord, 4 for lights and 1 charge line, ground and charge wires are larger gauge. You might need something else depending upon the toad aux brake.

looks like this may be my best option, thanks for the feedback
  • When you say arms, do you mean the towbar or the portion you insert it to the fixed portion of the baseplate?
  • The previous owner called me and gave me the info I was needing. He told me the exact setup he used, do now I know exactly what I need to get. Thanks for the help everyone!!!!
