Rocky Mountain Campground searching for Workampers!
Arapaho Valley Ranch is a gorgeous 150 acre property located outside of Granby, Colorado. We host guests from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend for Glamping, Camping and lots of outdoor fun.
We have 5 Tipis, 3 Glamping Tents and 150acres of gorgeous land for personal tent camping. We have a private lake, private hiking trails, the Colorado River by our side, a historic lodge with Colorado's smallest bar the Red Dog Saloon, outdoor movie nights, close proximity to the Indian Peaks Wilderness and so much more!
We are looking for a couple to live on the land with us all summer and help us work with guests to enjoy this gorgeous outdoor location.
Here are some details:
Job Responsibilities:
~Welcoming guests and helping them check IN and OUT for their stay in our Tipis, Tents, or personal camping.
~Selling items in our country store
~Running our Red Dog Saloon, bartending, cleaning, etc.
~Coffee/ water set up, maintenance and take-down each morning for guests.
~Cleaning our Lodge, vacuuming, sweeping, wiping counters, cleaning bathrooms, washing dishes.
~Preparing the Tipis/Tents and Lodge rooms for guests, includes making the beds, cleaning the rooms, re stocking the camp kitchens.
~Helping guests with our fire pits, starting fires, maintaining fires.
~Chopping wood, re stocking wood pits with chopped wood.
Working Conditions:
~Indoor/Outdoor
~Flexible in work hours/days
~On call ability
~Work is subject to frequent interruptions from guests.
Physical and Mental abilities:
~Reading, Writing, Computer Skills (i-pad for our store and bar)
~Standing, Walking, Lifting up to 75lbs
~Personal hygiene and appearance appropriate to the job
~Must be able to deal with spiders, snakes, marmots, dear, moose, etc.
~Comfortable around children.
This is an incredibly unique and exciting opportunity and while we do expect work, there is also lots of down time to enjoy the beauty of our surroundings.
Important tid bits:
This is a seasonal job that runs from May 15th through September 15th.
2 days off per week.
We provide basic electricity and water.
Bring your own RV, Camper, etc
Apartment in our Lodge is available if needed, Queen bed.
