Roosevelt Lake Arizona
We had not been to Roosevelt Lake (east of Phoenix), in nearly two years but had planned to meet friends from Phoenix there Monday afternoon following what turned out to be a disastrous medical appointment. We delayed our departure until the following morning which posed no problem as we had the TT out front packed and ready to roll. We found the lake to be down about 40 feet since our last visit, the bottom of the large boat ramp is a good 100+ yards from the water but it is still a gorgeous spot. The lakeis 26 miles long and two to three across and provides all sorts of water sports and great fishing to boot.
With our Golden Age pass it cost us a whopping $3 a night. The amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, nice steel Ramada's in each site. The girls kayaked while the guys hung out in camp (we all seem to be limping a lot lately). Here are a couple of shots:
