TY Bob! Didn't even think about the fact some chains may be longer than others (# of links)!!!!
I have edited the post to reflect this correct info!
7 links- slight upward bend with a lighter fa than unloaded.
6 links- slightly more bend upward (not crazy extreme though!) returning fa to unloaded weight on the nose!
Talked to Reese/Draw Tite today and was told max number of washers for tilt is 9.
So if I add 2 more washers and go 8 links under tension (before dc is mounted) I hope to have enough room for the dual cam. With the round bar system, is it ok if the bars are pointed slightly down as well? I know parallel with the frame is ideal, or slightly up is ok as well, but what about when using the dc (old school model w/ u bolts)? Or go back to the trunnion model, possibly ordering the new model with the toothed washer?
