I do not understand your concern on reving an engine.
Because most folks have never pushed their engine before... ;)
They are so used to cruising down the hwy in OD pulling less than 2000 rpms and going 70 mph..
Now, they have a huge TT behind them and hit a grade and think they need to keep up with traffic... So, they press the go pedal more and find that it goes over 2000 rpms and panic! :)
Just gotta know that's what the engine is really designed to do and no it won't get very good mpg's doing it either... :)
