Run A/C when in storage?

I live in Florida and I am lucky enough to have a covered storage building with a 50amp hookup. My thinking is to set the main a/c thermostat to about 80 all year to keep everything inside from warping etc. Is this a good idea?

    Most folks use a product to get rid of the damp ness.
