Seems like most of my BREAKERS in my house power panel are 20AMPS rated. The 120VAC receptacles are all 15AMP types except in one location where previous owner installed an air compressor setup on a separate 20AMP Circuit.
This is where I tap in my long 50-foot 10-3 extension cord to run my parked 5th wheel RV trailer. I tap into another 15AMP receptacle in the garage to run my smaller OFF-ROAD POPUP also parked at home.
Can run just about everything in the trailer including the 13,500 air conditioners just fine. I do have to watch what is on at the same time when running the air conditioners. I use the RV30A-15A long type adapters on the ends of the 50-foot 10-3 extensions where the trailer shore power cables plug in. All connections runs cool to touch feeding both trailer. I also have a RV120VAC plug-in voltmeter setup inside the trailers to glance at before i turn on the air conditioner.
Been my setup since around 2009 with successful results for both of my home parked trailers. Always plugged-in when not on the road.
We sleep in both trailers alot here at the house - great get-aways to watch HDTV or just listen to the night sounds at home. Grandkids have a ball spending the nights in the trailers.
