Running the generator all night

Our CO detector failed a few years ago so I bought a 2 pack of Kidde CO detectors from Home Depot. I didn't mount them anywhere. We placed one at the head of the bed and the other floats around in the living/kitchen area. Maybe you should place one in your bedroom for a piece of mind.
