Running water pump w/o batteries

A friend of mine winterized his trailers early this year and he took the batteries off. After that he realized he forgot to add anti-freeze to the toilet flush pipes.

So we were wondering if he can just plug the car in (with engine running) and do it or he has to bring one battery over?

  • Positive needs to be separated from ground but you may have several positive battery wires that need to be tied together for the power to get to the pump.

I'm sure glad I live in the SW where we RV year round and never need to winterize!!

We RV year round up here. Some folks are fair weather RVers....we are RVers. If you time it right you can hit some awesome storms on the coast. Lots of fun.

Really sad to have to winterize this early in Seattle! My way of thinking second season is just starting!
  • As long as the TT battery cables are separated, plugging into the car will work.
