The tank's not the issue, it's large and flexible.
The 4" rigid drain pipe at the bottom of the tank and the drain valve however will burst with only a quart of water in there.
Think so?? I would think the freezing water would expand back up into the tank on the path of least resistance. Any way. In 10 years of winterizing the TT. I have always left 5 gal in the tank. And while it has been below freezing for days on end. have not had a problem yet.
