RV Bed Chairs

I recently donated blood in a blood donation center bus. The bus had bed like chairs to sit in while donating blood. The comfortable chairs got me thinking. Wouldn't it be nice if RV's had these types of beds that people could sleep in while still being buckled in? I am thinking many parents would appreciate it for sleepy kids on long trips. Any thoughts? Just thought I would share.

  • Why don't you research were those chairs came from on the bloodmobile.
  • The Passenger seat in my Class B reclines quite far, but not flat....

looks like you could sleep in it though!
  • Our Lazy Boys lay just about flat but has a small tilt which makes breathing easier as one ages or illness. When we had surgeries while full-timing that was our bed until we could easily lay flat in the regular bed.

I have always wanted a chair that would lay flat. In 1969 while home on leave from the Navy we went camping for the first time in the White Mtns in NH.We only had a frying pan and two sleeping bags no tent. My wife had a 67 mustang and I removed the back part of the front seat to lay it flat to convert it into a bed. Then in 85 we took the kids out west camping in a 84 Plymouth Voyager and a tent and had the same issue, in a pinch when it was raining I wanted the seat to lay flat for the two youngest kids to sleep on which they did but they were not quite flat. In a MH where there is plenty of room this would be a nice option.
