Well, their are options. The born free class c has three steel roll bars in the house section. I saw one that rolled and all lived. The fiberglass was damaged pretty badly but the unit wa structurally ok. Then you have the big heavy monocoque chassis. Thing school buses and Prevost and blue bird. Now some are made into RVs. Foretravel is monocoque as is the older CC Monocos. The raised rail guys are not. I own a born free and a Foretravel and if I was looking again I would look strongly at a bus convention. The prices have come way down in the used market. It does not mean no risk but they will hold up way better than raised rail. They all cost more too but will last forever.
