As far as this goes, as you have now learned, is NEVER fill out a credit app until you are positive you want the RV and know you can afford it. Many want you to fill out one 'just' to see if you are financially capable of buying one. THOSE are the lazy sales people fearful of wasting one moment of their time showing you RV's. And/OR won't show you ones of better quality and lower price! :W

Sign nothing until you are ready. They cannot run a credit check until you agree in writing. This applies for any purchases whether you think the sales people are being lazy or not. Remember their time is just as valuable as your's.
Should you want to check to see if the RV lot's checkup will cause you future problems go to a site like
www.creditkarma.comto see what the effect is. O and if the company ran a credit check w/o your approval you can have any actions/comments made removed.
