A 67-year old Florida man and two local persons were killed in a head-on collision on Hwy 281 north of Anadarko, OK, in SW OK. A man and a woman had been having a domestic argument in a local casino, were kicked out, and left at a high rate of speed in a Dodge Durango. The female driver lost control, went into the ditch on the right, overcorrected into the left lane and collided headon with the Chevy Silverado pickup pulling a fifth wheel (Local news said it was a bumper-pull camper trailer; however, I saw the wreckage - sure lookd like a 5th wheel to me.) The Durango was going downhill; the pickup may have still been in a 55 mph zone and was going uphill. This are is about five miles from my home}GM

No husband/wife argument is worth someone else’s life.

So sad that lives were lost due to a domestic problem by strangers.

That's an argument for staying off two lane roads.

Unless a 4 (or more) lane has barriers or cables separating each side, crossover head-ons are not uncommon.

Absolutely. For instance, on this one I learned if a couple has and argument and gets kicked out of a casino, don't drive on the same road they are driving on. People die every day on the roadways for a wide variety of reasons; speeding, alcohol, texting, road rage, etc. While tragic, what makes this one so special? Do we need to set up a new forum "road deaths" so everyone can read about all the traffic incidents?

Please keep reporting RV accidents, hopefully with photos and/or videos. It's helpful to me, due to the fact that I analyze these accidents for the purpose of trying to learn something that might help me avoid accidents.

Just like police officers, some feel we should discuss every death or injury before we start the shift. If truck drivers or nurses did this every day the shift would be over before the work started...
